FP's projects focus on establishing and strengthening protected areas (marine and terrestrial), researching the unique fauna and flora of the island, promoting community livelihood, ecotourism and environmental sustainability.

Engaging communities is essential to the success of our projects and ensuring that they are the ones getting the most out of protecting the island's biodiversity. We believe that conservation has to be done with and for the people.

It will support conservation capacity building for local groups and implement other aspects of the FP conservation strategy, with a primary focus on ecological project design and data management.
